Building Trades

Students learn the basic theories of carpentry using the tools and equipment of the trade, as well as how to apply their skills and knowledge to a variety of lab projects for hands-on experience in the classroom and at off-campus construction sites.

Instructors strive to provide students with classroom experience that is as close as possible to one they’d find at a job site, and students get the chance to build a home from the ground up — either a modular house or a tiny house.
